Day 01 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi airport, on arrival meet and greet by our representative & transfer you to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02 : In Delhi

After breakfast, embark on a fascinating tour of the bustling city of Delhi that includes Qutb Minar, built in 1193 A.D. It is a striking medieval tower of victory of Persian architecture style. Next stop is Humayun’s Tomb. Drive past the imposing India Gate, the Parliament Buildings and President House. Later in the afternoon, visit to Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, visit to Red Fort in old Delhi. Then enjoy a rickshaw ride along the alleys of ancient bazaar of Chandni Chowk with stop at Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in Asia. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 03: To Jaipur - The Pink Paradise (260 km / 5 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur - the city with graceful architecture in a unique pink colour, was established in the year 1727 by the then Maharaja, Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is known as one of the well-planned cities of its time. The capital of Rajasthan, this diverse land of rich cultural heritage is predominantly known for its musicians, artisans and craftsmen. Today, it is visited for its fine jewellery, varied textiles and sumptuous cuisine. On arrival Check-In at your hotel. Post lunch visit to Galta ji Temple, Heritage Walk - Sisodia Rani Ka Bagh / Vidhyadhar Ka Bagh / Raj Niwas Bagh, Ghat Ki Guni Tunnel & Chulgiri Jain Temple. Over Night stay in Jaipur.

Day 04 : In Jaipur

After Breakfast, Pass through Hawa Mahal & Jal Mahal to visit Amber Fort & Palace: It is one of the finest and the best preserved forts, having served as the royal capital for about seven hundred long years, before the city of Jaipur was built. It has a complex of several palaces, meeting halls, pavilions, gardens and temples. Here you may have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Post lunch visit to Observatory (Jantar Mantar) - It has instruments that have been scientifically designed to predict the movement of the major stars accurately. It represents the high point of medieval Indian astronomy. City Palace & Museum: Built by Sawai Jai Singh, it became the official seat of the Jaipur royal family after 1922. A large part of the brilliant palace is now museum that houses collections of rare manuscripts, armory, costumes, carpets and miniature paintings used by the Rajput royalty. Later visit to Albert Hall & Birla Mandir. Over Night stay in Jaipur.

Day 05: To Agra (235 km / 5 hours)

Morning after breakfast drive to Agra - Agra in terms of ambiance is still associated with its Mughal period. The Mughals besides being great rulers were also great builders and they preserved their best architectural wonders for Agra & its neighborhood. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri - it was abandoned due to lack of water supply, it remains an exceptional example of Mughal splendor. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit imposing Agra Fort : the awesome Agra fort built in red sand stone, the semi circular fort was started by Akbar in 1565 and completed in 1574. After visiting Agra Fort take a Horse Cart ride to the wonderful Taj Mahal (Friday closed) : the most photographed monument in the world, the Taj stands in its splendor of white marble, an imposing citadel on the banks of river Yamuna. Built in 17th century by Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal emperor, in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. It took over 20,000 skilled workers from across the country, working day and night for 22 years for this architectural wonder to be created. Later we have some free time to explore the local handicrafts and shopping centers of the city where one can look for marble inlay work, fine quality carpets, Zari and embroidery, leather goods etc. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 06: To Jhansi by Train & from Jhansi by road to Khajuraho (170 km / 5 hours)

After an early breakfast, transfer you to Railway station to board the Train to Jhansi. Upon arrival at Jhansi Railway station, meet and greet by our representative & drive to Khajuraho. En-route visiting Orcha - a beautiful medieval town, it was once the capital of Bundela Kings. Built along the banks of the river Betwa, through a rugged countryside, it still retains the captivating air of a bygone era. Amongst the various imposing edifices, of particular interest are the Jehangiri Mahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Deo to commemorate the visit of the Moghul Emperor Jehangir. The Raj Mahal and the Laxminarayan temple are both noted for their fine frescoes and mural paintings. Continue drive to Khajuraho. On arrival Check-In at your hotel. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.

Day 07: In Khajuraho

After breakfast, visit to the famous Chandela Dynasty Temples, which are set in a lovely grass park. These temples are amazing - rising in many peaks and spirals intricately carved and designed with statues and friezes. The erotic carvings on these temple walls have made this one of the most talked about tourist site in the country and, perhaps, unmatched in the world. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.

Day 08: Khahuraho to Varanasi (400 km / 8 hours)

After breakfast, drive to Varanasi - the holiest of cities for the Hindus, is amongst the oldest living cities in the world. On arrival to Varanasi, check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 09: In Varanasi

Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the river Ganges while looking out for people on the ghats - the women bathing discreetly in their sarees, the young men displaying prowess in yogic postures and the Brahmin priests offering prayers for one and all. Return to your hotel for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for a city tour of Varanasi including visits to the numerous temples, which dot the banks of the river. Walk through the narrow lanes and stop by at the bazaars to see the world famous Banaras silks. In the afternoon, visit the buried city of Sarnath, one of the holiest cities for Buddhists which is located north east of Varanasi. Buddha came to Sarnath and preached the way to Nirvana. Later Ashoka, the great Buddhist emperor erected magnificent stupas and monasteries, the ruins of which are visible today. A museum here houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures. Return to Varanasi to witness the evening Aarti ceremony at the ghats of River Ganges. Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 10: Leave Varanasi by flight

After breakfast, transfer you to Varanasi Airport for your onward destination.
